I've been working on developing my Flash skills for web site design purposes at work and came across a cool page-turn technique. I am able to edit it and customize it to my likings. So I had Nathan and Aly create a storybook for me.

Nate's was based off of one he did for school a couple years ago, but had him rewrite and redraw it for these purposes.

Aly's is based off her imagination. :)

Hope you enjoy. You can click on the corners of the book, or actually drag the pages to turn them. Very cool.

While the family was camping in Pennsylvania near the Allegheny National Forest at the Salberg Camp, we heard the wild call of the Buzzin Ursula.

For those of you who have never experienced that in nature, here it is.

20070622 CoachingThe Gateway News got me in the act of coaching Brandon's T-ball team up at the Streetsboro City Park.

Left, Coach Steve Giunto gives some advice to Jacob Geisheimer..

Dylan and Nick Keba had a sleep over so we decided to have some fun with our video camera and my new imac. After about 3-1/2 minutes of preparation, 15 minutes of filming and 3 hours of editing, we came up with our finished product.

The kids loved being stars. We all viewed it at Mom and Dad's on the big screen on Thanksgiving and it was a big hit.

In lieu of no gifted program support at Nathan's level, we've made the decision to transfer to him to St Patrick's School in Kent.

Here's a pic of Nathan the morning of his transfer to St. Pats. Last week was his first full week and he loved it. We can already tell it'll be much more challenging for him, which is why we did it.

Here's a few shots of Dad, Nathan and I's fishing trip to Mosquito Reservoir.

Nate caught his first fish in Papa's boat, a catfish, and I caught my first Northern Pike and largest fish I've ever caught. It was 26 inches long.

The days catch was 1 Northern Pike, 1 Catfish, 1 Walleye, 4 Crappie and 2 Bluegill. It was a great day.

Welcome to the family BUSTER, NOT Baxter or Tiger or Bruizer or Drake or Duke like suggested by many.

Our new toy poodle is now 3-1/2 months old. Everyone is excited about him and wow is he cute.

He's doing great at potty training too.

The kids all dressed up like Star Wars characters for halloween this year. Jean's dad took a picture of them and I got the idea to make a poster because....well because I can.

At first a quickie job, then redid it in high resolution because everyone in the world was printing it out. So here it is, redone with more detail and in high resolution. Click one of the links below to get the file size you want.

Low resolution - On this page down below.
Medium resolution - Good for up to 4x6ish printout
Large resolution - Good for up to an 8x10 printout

Nate took the National IOWA testing a couple months ago and we just got the official results back. He was in the 99 percentile of all kindergartners nation-wide.

Look below to see what good things they say about him. Any scores above 95% are considered gifted by the State. Good job Jean, now I will take it upon myself to keep up the sillyness and behavior mishaps to keep him from being a nerd.

Here's some pics of a huge snake we first thought was a water moccasin. After learning moccasins don't come this far north into Ohio, it turns out it was just a harmless Northern Watersnake. Still a very large snake for around the house.

We left the snake in a cage in the garage overnight. When we woke up in the morning, we found a surprise. Mama snake had 36 babies in our cage. We were able to actually see it give live birth to the last 6-7 babies.

We let them go in the back yard.

Nathan's marketing debut turned out some cute pictures. (below)

The photo shoot was for a childrens savings account promotion for one of our clients at Bark at the Moon. He and 2 other kids were photographed. I think he's got the best shots but I'm a little partial.

Click the links below to see some of the pieces of the marketing promotion and photos from the shoot.
