White Rice (w/ Cooker)


  • 2 Mini-cups white rice (Medium Grain Basmati)
  • 2 Mini-cups water
  • 1/2+ tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon lime Juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon Juice
  • 1/4 cup cilantro (finely chopped)


  1. Add rice to larger bowl and rinse thoroughly. Add rice to strainer to completely drain then add rice only rice cooker
  2. Add equivalent water to rice cooker
  3. Push down center start button. Cooking time varies.
  4. IMPORTANT: Watch for rice cooker light to change from “cook” (right side) to “keep warm” (left side). About 18 minutes.
  5. When light changes to “keep warm” left side, set timer for 25 minutes. Do NOT open or turn off.
  6. After 25 minutes, scoop rice into bowl and fluff with fork.
  7. Mix in butter, lime juice, lemon juice, kosher salt and cilantro.
