Breakfast Casserole (Nonny)

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 LB pork sausage (cook, drained & crumbled)
  • 16 Oz Bread (day old & cubed)
  • 2 Cups shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 10 Eggs (lightly beaten)
  • 3 Cups Cream
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 3 Green Onions (Include green ends, chopped)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Precook Sausage
  2. Grease 9×13 casserole dish WELL.
  3. In a bowl, combine eggs, cream, salt & green onions.
  4. In the Casserole dish, layer…. 1/2 bread 1/2 sausage, 1/2 half cheese, and 1/2 egg mixture. Then repeat with the remaining.
  5. Cover & refrigerate several hours (overnight or all day).
  6. Preheat oven to 350. Bake uncovered, 1 hour or until golden brown.
  7. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting. Great with Syrup.
